MONROVIA — The Internal Audit Agency (IAA) has launched a new digital platform designed to modernize internal auditing across Liberia’s public sector.
The iSoft Public Sector Internal Audit Management System is intended to automate audit planning, monitoring, reporting and follow-up activities within government institutions.
IAA Director General David Kermah said the system will help move government auditing away from paper-based processes and strengthen risk management, transparency and compliance.
The agency said iSoft will provide a centralized system through which internal auditors can manage audit assignments and monitor responses to audit findings.
The system is expected to be deployed across ministries, agencies, commissions and public corporations as part of ongoing public financial management reforms.
The IAA said the initiative is aimed at strengthening internal controls and improving accountability in the use of public resources.
